Hi, I’m Georgina
My early career was spent in Leeds at East Street Arts and then I moved to the East Midlands and have had studios in Southwell and the Harley Studios at Welbeck North Nottinghamshire.
Everything changed after a research trip to Norway in 2011. Inspired by the landscape and its design heritage, I transitioned my focus and set up my own hand-printed textile business, Spot and Dot, in 2012.
Spot and Dot quickly became a respected name in contemporary craft. I successfully exhibited at many prestigious fairs, including Lustre, The Great Northern Craft Fair, and Collect in Cardiff, Saltaire Makers Fair and Selvedge Fairs at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, are a few places that you might have bought my work in the past. I was also proud to sell my range of hand-printed textile designs to galleries, gift shops, and through my own online presence.
After a brief pause, and investing some time un developing my skills further, I’m now thrilled to have returned to what I love.
I’m now actively taking on commission work, offering a full range of services in both hand-printed and digital textile design and once again taking on freelance design projects.
